Why is an internship important?

An internship is an awesome way to get ‘real-world’ experience outside the classroom. Internships allow you to explore different career paths, apply your classroom knowledge to real work, ask questions, develop connections that could lead to future employment, and learn a company’s culture. Think of it as “test-driving” a job before you graduate - internships help you find the right fit.
